We partnered with innovative developer Urban Splash, helping them to transform an iconic historic site into a beautiful modern space by respectfully converting it into homes, workspaces and social hot-spots.
Creating a place to eat, relax and unwind.
Urban Splash were tasked with bringing the historic Royal William Yard in Plymouth back into action as a mixed-use commercial and residential space. As a Grade I listed ex-Royal Navy victualling yard, surrounded by premium apartments, a careful strategy was needed to unlock this location’s true value.
“Their [CURACE] support with everything from identifying the right brand concept to managing lease negotiations has been both professional and proactive.”

Honouring property heritage.
We conceptualised, designed and managed a number of renovations to create a stylish dining space that was sensitive to the property’s heritage — and that wouldn’t disturb the neighbours. We then lined up a range of fashionable eateries and handled all leasing negotiations and contracts to get them up and running.
Empty shell to eating quarter.
Now home to a number of premium and desirable restaurants, Royal William Yard has become a classy new eating quarter in Plymouth — and one of the finest places to dine in the country.
